Two years after Vivendi (among others) settled a suit against Mp3.com for $175 million and subsequently acquired the site, it seems the media giant will get a chance to see what it feels like to sit on the other side of the table. Three of Sony's artists; Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, and James Taylor filed suit yesterday in Manhattan claiming that Mp3.com ripped their music and distributed it to customers without permission.
