Napster Will Auction Off Company Assets

On August 27, Napster will auction off the company assets not involved in pending copyright infringement lawsuits. August 21 is the deadline for proposals from qualified bidders.
Items up for bid include the company's name, the P2P technology and its yet to be released peer-to-peer service. The total package is worth an estimated $54 million.
