Indymedia's Anti-Logging Policy

News EFF's Deep Links: Indymedia's anti-logging policy helped them dodge the bullet when some of its users posted some Republican delegates' phone numbers, e-mail addresses and the hotels where they would stay during the party's national convention.

For sites who might need to think about such policies, EFF has prepared a set of legal and technical recommendations, best practices for online service providers, for limiting the logs you keep. More detail can be found in this whitepaper.
