News A federal judge on Friday a granted plaintiffs including the Washington Post, New York Times, Dow Jones and seven other companies a preliminary injunction barring software company Gator from delivering and displaying its ads upon user requests for the plaintiffs' sites. The case will go to trial later this year.

Berkman Affiliate Ben Edelman is involved in this case and has prepared a listing of available primary source material, including the plaintiffs' complaint and motion for preliminary injunction, as well as his expert report about the method of operation of Gator and its appearance to users.
