Trying to Dilute the LandGrab Bounty

Internet Governance thebaron writes "The story arising in http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=17193 is typical of many stories now arising. The initial 'Land Grab' is being seen by more and more as unfair - ICANN is trying desperately hard to dilute the value of .com .org and .net which domain extensions were grabbed early and became the vauable extensions. It's not as if they can be compared to early pioneers, braving the wilds to put a stamp on a piece of land. But the value to the owner is similar.
