Johnny Deep and Madster have been involved in a long running legal battle
against the RIAA and MPAA. Deep and Madster lost the case both at the local and appeal courts. They have now appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. The US Supreme Court is currently deciding whether to hear the case or not. The RIAA were expected to respond to Madsters motions in early December, according to online news service Slyck, but it appears the RIAA has waived that right. The next event in the Supreme Court proceedings (or decision to not enter into them) will take place on January 9, 2004 with a court conference.
