News Peter Yu has just submitted two articles to SSRN that might be of interest to GrepLaw readers: The Copyright Divide (PDF) and The Neverending ccTLD Story (PDF)

The first argues that the similarities among the RIAA, Chinese, and US crackdown on copyright infringement "provide[s] insight into the war on piracy, intellectual property law reforms, and international harmonization efforts"; the second "recounts the power struggle over the control of the Domain Name System and authority to delegate and administer country-code ccTLDs," as well as how "ccTLD policymaking has been transformed from ad hoc, informal coordination to international, contract-based governance."
