This may be the year where school blogs become part of the academic curriculum at many schools. A school blog is a weblog that is used by teachers and students to discuss or share information or opinions about a subject matter. Weblogs have become a great way to pass around information on the Internet and now it will be a great way to share opinions and ideas in an academic setting.

My first experience with blogging was during my Senior year in high school when my AP English teacher made the class post commentaries and thoughts about Shakespeare's Hamlet on an online newsboard. From personal experience, I think that school blogs are a great idea that students and teachers alike will benefit greatly from.
