Iuliano on The Case of the Missing Copyright Law

Copyright Danielle Iuliano has published a new column, The Case of the Missing Copyright Law. Iuliano tells the detective story of My Mp3.com. It is hard to solve a murder case when there is no body and there is even questionable whether a murder took place or not. Iuliano follows the blood trail of My Mp3.com into the courtroom and states:

'Unless our hope is that courts presciently interpret the law, we must look at the Mp3 story as one example where copyright law is outdated. If justice prevails, Congress, our new protagonist, will take another look at copyright law to rewrite the end to the Mp3.com case and open the door for new digital media legends to come.'

Read Danielle Iuliano's column.
