Red Hat Files SCO Complaint
posted by mpawlo on Monday August 04, @05:31PM
from the biteback dept.
Open Source Red Hat files a complaint against SCO to protect Linux. Red Hat also initiates a fund to collect money in order to defend Linux. Red Hat is asking for a declatory judgement stating that Red Hat did not infringe SCO's intellectual property.

Read the complaint over at LWN (in PDF format).

Read also Karsten M Selfs' Wiki on SCO vs IBM.

Tip from Mr Jonathan Corbet over at the Linux-Elitist mailing list.
