Spam and Freedom of Speech

Censorship Spam regulation may propose severe problems in respect of freedom of speech. In a Wired story the advantages and disadvantages of spam regulation are investigated.

'It's not the job of an ISP to block e-mail. E-mail isn't a toy anymore. If I don't get an e-mailed notice from the federal district court mailing list, it's malpractice', says the EFF's head counsel Cindy Cohn to Wired.
