The Driving Forces Behind Open Code Development

Open Source HBS Working Knowledge has interviewed professor Siobhan O'Mahony. Professor O'Mahony has conducted research regarding the driving forces behind open code collaboration. The most important conclusion seems to be that there is not one answer to the question. Developers tend to engage in open code development for a number of reasons and it is a very diverse group of individuals.
