It looks like it is time for RIAA and its radio equivalents to launch a campaign, because the Tivo box for radio is being introduced to consumers in the U.S.. Like the Tivo box for TV, you can use the Tivo-like audio recorders to skip commercials. Although most radio businesses in the Western world are very depending on commercials and also suffering a lot in the current economy, this will probably be a very interesting to many listeners in the short run, sick and tired of the long lasting commercials. Again, this introduces the need for Real Copyright in order to maintain and sustain the radio stations. But then again, progress and innovation should not be sacrificed on the altar of copyright.
