SCO Poses No Legal Threat to SuSE
posted by scubacuda on Monday May 05, @12:03AM
from the hopefully-it-was-a-written-contract dept.
Open Source News.com reports that SuSE claims that an agreement with a SCO Group protects them from the possibility that Linux might infringe on SCO's intellectual property rights. "We have a joint development agreement with them, which includes appropriate cross-licensing arrangements," said SuSE spokesman Joe Eckert on Friday. "Our lawyers feel that covers us from any actions that SCO may take."
