Civil Liberties miladus writes "The UK's Information Commissioner is criticizing plans for the introduction of a digital ID (or an 'entitlement card'). He thinks the government's plans  will require a central database that could cause 'function creep' that could end up including 'the political or religious views of the holder, as well as details of race'. [via Inquirer]"
