Pro And Contra Genetic Patents
posted by mpawlo on Monday January 06, @02:41AM
from the yet-more-ip dept.
News scubacuda writes "Law.com's IP section features several interesting articles on genetic patents. Barbara Caufield, in her article, Why We Hate Gene Patents , makes a case for keeping the human genome in the public sphere; Lee Bendekgey and Diana Hamlet Cox address the other side in their article, Why We Need Gene Patents . A quick overview of both perspectives can be found here."

Pawlo's comment: Some of the arguments should be interesting to those debating software patents.
