As reported by Greplaw on November 23, the Danish Anti Piracy Group has sent invoices to 150 Danish users of filesharing software eDonkey and Kazaa. The names and addresses were obtained from the users internet service providers. The Danish Data Authority ('Datatilsynet') will now investigate the practice from a alleged intrusion of privacy perspective. It appears that the Danish Data Authority has been in previous contact with the Anti Piracy Group, but only in respect of computer games. The users have been monitored also for illegal copying of music and movies.
Read the entiry story at Computerworld.dk (in Danish).
