Copyright - Anyone should be able to watch a DVD movie, Brian Mikkelsen, Danish minister of culture states in an artice published by Danish daily Jyllands-Posten. The Mikkelsen statement may sound uncontroversial, but Mikkelsen also wants to remove any regulation that prohibits the breach of non-circumvention mechanism. Hence, according to Mikkelsen, anyone, even Linux users, will be able to play DVDs. Mikkelsen's statement is not in line with the current EU legislation.
