Censorship miladus writes " Wired is reporting that Rep. Chris Cox (R-CA) introduced a bill (H.R.5524) to establish the Office of Global Internet Freedom bill yesterday. The main aim of the bill is to "foster development of censorship-busting technology for users" in countries like China and Saudi Arabia.  The bill would allocate $50 million each for 2003 and 2004 and would make the Office part of the International Broadcast Bureau, the administrative and engineering arm of the Voice of America. A similar bill is to be introduce by the Senate. "
