Bruce Perens Outspoken

Open Source For two years Bruce Perens was an open source strategist with Hewlett-Packard. 10 days ago, Mr Perens left HP. Perens is one of the strongest open source advocates and he is the author of the Open Source Definition. New York Times has published a lenghty story on the Microsoft and Linux balance, troubles with advocacy of the Perens type and - ultimately - what a merger can do to corporate culture.

New York Times has the story (free registration required).
