The Register reports of a strange case where The Law Society of Scotland is allegedly attempting to reverse hijack the domain www.lawscot.co.uk. The Law Society use a passing off-claim, stating that the current domain name holder Mr Tommy Butler wrongly receiving private and confidential emails. According to The Register, this is an effect of the Law Society promoting the wrong domain name in its own publication.
