Bush Signs CAN-SPAM Act
posted by scubacuda on Tuesday December 16, @11:34AM
from the tyop dept.
News Bush has signed the CAN-SPAM Act, which authorizes the FTC to set up a list of e-mail addresses similar to its "do-not-call" telephone list, as well as supplants anti-spam laws already passed in a number of states. (How long will it take for them to corrrect the "Anit" mistrake in the titl of ther Whitehouse Pres Releese?)
