News Hartmut Pilch of the Eurolinux Alliance has written an open letter to The Guardian addressing the issues regarding software patents and open source Arlene McCarthy presented the other day. Pilch matter-of-factly states:

'McCarthy's proposal harmonises nothing, clarifies nothing'.
