News Today Declan writes that the many problems of challenge-response anti-spam technology (where people who try to contact you receive response saying something like "click on this link to deliver this message" or "type in the word you see in the box above") should make us think twice before making it a standard. SpamArrest.com, Mail-block.com, and iPermitMail.com started enforcing challenge-reponse last year.
