Illegal Sharing of Bottled Water!?
posted by md on Sunday October 06, @09:31AM
from the RIAA-who? dept.
News Brian Carver writes "Strap on your allegory cap, and read a tale of the Rio Idiota Acaparar Agua (RIAA) Bottled Water Company. It seems people like to share their water with friends. The RIAA insists that their customers' friends should buy their own bottled water, and that sharing water, even if it is of a lower quality than the original, is a violation of the RIAA's right to be the sole distributor of Rio Idiota Acaparar Agua bottled water. The story continues with lots of links to all your favorite law and technology related sites."

should have picked something other than bottled water. I bottle of water is a exhaustable item. The only way to get another bottle of water is to "buy" another bottle. I think that if music and movies "wore out" after "X" number of uses, or copies, or plays; the riaa would not care as much. But it doesn't, copy one is as good as copy 100.nategall says "blah!"
