Levy on Lessig

News Sometimes great minds meet and the result may be astonishing. This is one of those times. Newsweek chief technology writer and senior editor Steven Levy of Hackers fame has profiled Lawrence Lessig on behalf of Wired.

Levy follow in Lessig's footsteps from early republicanism at the University at Pennsylvania to philosophy in Cambridge, England and a new dawn. The Eldred and Microsoft cases - probably familiar to most Greplaw:ers - are explained and we even get a glimpse of a short drive with Lessig in his Audi TT. This may not be the most critical portrait of the Stanford professor but it is an entertaining read and a great introduction to the future of ideas to force anyone who mistakes Larry for Doris to read.
