Security (Washington Post) In order to receive further input from the tech sector, the Bush administration will not release the final version of a national cybersecrity plan on Sept. 18, as scheduled. Instead, the government will issue another draft on Wednesday at Stanford University. Many controversial items that industry opposed have already been removed, such as the proposed appointment of a national privacy czar and a measure that would have forced Internet service providers to include firewall and other anti-hacking technology with their services. The White House will give tech firms two months to submit comments on tomorrow's draft.
