Criminal Law (The Register) The Greek government has banned all computer games, as part of a crackdown on Internet gambling. The law, presented by the Economy and Finance Ministry, bans any form of “electric, electro-mechanical and electronic” game devices, including computers, from hotels, coffee shops, club premises and public areas in general. The Greek government admitted introducing the law, with penalties of up to three months in jail and a fine of 10,000 euros, because it was incapable of distinguishing innocuous video games from illegal gambling machines.
