Judge Blocks Sale of Napster
posted by filter_editor on Tuesday September 03, @05:54PM
from the going-out-with-a-whimper dept.
Digital Entertainment First Napster filed for bankruptcy. Then the news broke this week that Bertelsmann, which offered to buy Napster for $ 9 million, might nevertheless pull the plug. Now the AP, ZDNet & others report that the bankruptcy judge won't even allow Bertelsmann to buy Napster. And no one else was interested.

And you thought Napster couldn't get more dead.
