NRC Releases "Youth, Pornography and the Internet" Report
posted by md on Friday May 03, @06:29AM
from the porn dept.
Censorship Seth Finkelstein writes "The National Research Council has released a report on "Youth, Pornography and the Internet," which is available on the web. A good overview is the executive summary."

In the report, the NRC concluded that neither stricter laws nor more innovative uses of technology would solve the proliferation of online pornography to which minors are exposed, according to a New York Times article.

Note I submitted testimony to the NRC panel. See "Blacklisting Bytes"by Seth Finkelstein and Lee Tien."
